JWM: A Theatrical Company, will present CAROUSEL ON THE RIVER, on Tuesday, September 16, at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. An event curated for those who can no longer access the theatre, a third performance will be produced at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park on September 30th, 2025 at 2 pm.

About the event
Sutton Place Parks Conservancy (SPPC), in conjunction with JWM: A Theatrical Company, will present CAROUSEL ON THE RIVER, on Tuesday, September 16, at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. An event curated for those who can no longer access the theatre, whether that be because of age, disability, or financial restrictions, this 70-minute long concert of the 1945 Broadway musical will be held in Sutton Place Park, just east of Sutton Place (entrance is on 56th Street). The performance features two lead singers, 4 supporting singers, 19 ensemble members, and a 30-piece orchestra. CAROUSEL with music by Richard Rodgers, book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and choreography by Agnes De Mille, debuted in 1945. The main sponsors for this concert include Sunrise East 56, Sutton Place Parks Conservancy, Basil Walters Architects, and Carolyn Goldstein of Northwestern Mutual.
