Set against the backdrop of 1940’s New York City, and inspired by Shakespeare’s “King Lear”, Morningside is an original musical that tells the story of Maximillian Earl, a returning soldier who is struggling with his frightening memories of the recent war as his life and his business spiral out of control. Earl’s battle with his post-traumatic stress and his daughter’s scheme to take control of the company are interrupted as an unexpected player enters the fray.
